The Capital District Jewish Holocaust Memorial is a 501 (c) (3) corporation established specifically for the development and management of a Holocaust Memorial based in the Capital District of New York for the purpose of memorializing the victims of the Holocaust and educating the public. Our solution to the fading memory of the Holocaust and the rise of anti-Semitism, bigotry and hate is to:

  • Build a permanent educational memorial
  • Memorialize those who have fallen and pay tribute to those who survived the atrocities of the Holocaust
  • Provide teachers, students and the general public with a platform to understand lessons about the Holocaust
  • Encourage visitors to reflect upon their responsibilities as citizens of their community and to have the strength to stand up and fight injustice
