Supporters of CDJHM's Initiatives and Vision for the NYS Holocaust Memorial

Our Supporters

Based on our vision and goals, legislation (S5784 and A7614) was introduced in the New York State Legislature by Senator Pat Fahy and Assemblymember Gabriella Romero to erect such a memorial on the grounds of the Empire State Plaza and passed both houses unanimously in June 2025. The vision for the Memorial at the Empire State Plaza has also been embraced by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, the New York State Museum, and the State Department of Education among others.
